I have taken two tests so far, the first was a math test, which I am proud to say that I got a 95% on !!!! The second was an open book psychology test, which I know that I did good on... because it was open book and everything. Other than that, not a whole lot is happening. I have a history test on the 4th of oct. Things are well here! Hope everything is well with everyone!

The story behind LANA

For those of you who didn't know, the license plate on my new car is Lana, because it was my Grandpa Clements' wife, Lana's car before she passed. Amy & Rick came up with several acronyms that would fit the letters of Lana. Feel free to vote for which one you think is the best!

Update

Not a whole lot has happened this last week. Just went to class and started preparing for tests. This next week I have several tests that I will need to prepare for. Tomorrow I have a math test, and then Friday, my psychology test is due. My psychology teacher decided that our test should be take home, so it is awesome.

I am not nervous at all for math because we have been going so painfully slow. We are just starting chapter 3 while all of the other classes are on chapter 4 or 5. It is ridiculous and I may just snap at my teacher because we are going so slow. We spent this whole last week on the same section about graphing lines. My teacher really doesn't know how to teach! Yeah, that is the only class that I am having issues with.

We got a new roommate yesterday. His name is Cameron Jones. He is a rm that got back from spain like 2 weeks ago. He is way cool! He is on the SUU track, or cross country team, I can't remember which one.

Yesterday I signed up with an e-bay account and have decided that I want to try the whole e-bay thing out. I spent most of yesterday reading up on how people have successfully made their e-bay business work. If any of you guys have any tips or anything, please be sure to let me know!

Hope everything is well with everyone!

My Apartment

Here are some pictures of my apartment

This is the outside of my Apartment/ Townhouse
We are lucky number 10!!

This is the view from the front door. To the right is the staircase upstairs where there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, under the stairs is the laundry.... closet. To the left is our living room and tv. In the background that is mine and Nate's room.
This is directly to the right when you walk in my room. This is my work area, its kind of weird because my stuff is at the bottom of Nate's bed, so our stuff criss-crosses.

This is Nate's bed...

I forgot to take a pic of my bed, but just know that it is far superior to Nate's

This is our toilet/shower room. my bed is just to the right of this.

this is a picture of our vanity, the toilet room is to the right and the walk in closed is to your left

This is our walk in closet, we have to much stuff so you cant walk in it...

this is Nate's desk area which is at the bottom of my bed.

that is a tour of my apt!

Last Couple of Days

Well I just completed my second week of college! Only a couple of exciting things have happened. The first of which was that Scott, my very large and mysterious roommate moved out. Nobody actually knows why, put we are going to guess that he is moving in with some of his friends. The only reason this is good news, is because now that means there are only four of us in our six person apartment.

The second exciting thing, was that I got a new car!!! yeah!!! My Grandpa Ray (my mom's dad), is letting me use his 1988 Nissan 300zx for the next year because he only needed one car and had two (thanks of course to my mom because there is no way that I would ask my grandpa to let me use his car). My sister is going to be purchasing my good old Honda from me because it has been such a great car, so I will still get to see it around. I am kind of attached to it and I know that Kenzie is going to ding it up! No offense Kenzie, you are just a ..... young driver, and I am much, much more experienced.... haha! Anyways here is a picture of it!!! It is in amazing condition!! It only has 70,000 miles on it and is a t-top!! Its way cool!!

My roommate Nate and I wanted to fine a cool place to take pictures of my car, so we took it out in the wilderness. We actually tried to take some pictures of me driving by in my car, but we didn't have the camera on the right setting. But still it was pretty fun though!!! Yeah, I have a HOT car now!!! Not to say that my Honda wasn't hot of course!

Funny Story

So the other day I awoke to the beeping sound of a smoke detector. It was like 7:00 and my first class was not until 1:00 so I was like I am just going back to sleep. So I went to sleep for about 15 more minutes and then I woke up again. This same thing happened for about the next hours, and I was so frustrated!!! Finally I decided to go and investigate, keep in mind that I am exhausted and still have a bit of that morning delusional feeling. So as I went outside my room, the noise got a bit louder, so I walked further and found that the noise was coming from upstairs. When I got to the top of the stairs, I discovered that it was coming from my roommate Scott's room. I was like are you kidding me!, and stood outside of his door and listened to see if he was in there because if he was, there was no way that I would just walk in.

For those of you who do not know anything about Scott, he is an offensive linemen for the football team, and I have talked to him like twice the whole time I have lived here, and that has been just about 2 1/2 weeks!

So anyways, I listened to his door for like 5 mins and he must have left his tv on or something because there were noises coming from his room. So I was like, oh, well, I'm not going in there, and went back downstairs to go back to sleep. about 3 seconds after I layed down, I got the brilliant idea to see if his cars was here! So I looked out the window and his car was gone, so I went back up to his room and still listened for a while, then I got up the courage to go in, I knocked of course, (i blame still being so cautious, on still having the morning delusional...ness, because he clearly was not here) then I walked in. When I walked in, the noise was definitely coming from his room, I sounded like the same noise that comes from a smoke alarm, so I automatically thought that it was the smoke alarm. So I got a chair and took the battery out of the smoke alarm. After I did that, the noise was still going and I could not figure out how that could be, the smoke alarm was in one hand, and the battery was in the other. I was so confused! ( I once again blame the morning delusionalness because usually I am a very clever person haha.) So once I came to the realization that the noise would not possibly be coming from the smoke alarm, I was like, this is ridiculous! I am not going to go through all of his stuff so I can find this blasted noise! Then I saw it in an open drawer, it was a carbon monoxide alarm that was making all the noise! So I took the batteries out and the noise finally stopped!

I almost just left the room when I realized that the alarm had to have gone off for some reason and now that I unplugged the alarm, Scott would now have no warning if his room had carbon Monoxide in it. So I did not fancy the idea that Scott could possibly die in the night and it would be my fault because I unplugged the alarm... yeah, I did not want to be responsible for killing someone just because I wanted some more sleep haha. About 10 mins later Scott walked in so I explained everything and he just laughed... and all was well, except that I never was able to go back to sleep!
